Default The real information. B20vtec.

well I really want to know what is the real **** about a B20 vtec engine. I have a 2000 Si and i want to change my torqueless engine. i want to know about:
Head gasket, motor mounts, oil lines,what will be my redline with a stock B20z block with B16head... please say what you really are sure about don't write your friends stories. Thanks

I read a tech article in honda tuning where they had destroyed there B20Vtec, the moral of the story was that its highly recomended to swap the rod bolts to ARP units if you want to see 8000 rpm. Hopefully someone with more info can either correct me or elaborate, that at least will give you a starting point.

Let me guess you want to stay N/A and make torque out of a 4 cyl?

How much HP and torque would i get with a B20Z-B16 head and tranny with:
JDM type r 4-1 headers, Full 2.5' Apex N1 exhaust ( No cat.), Cold air intake, Unorthodox full pulleys, STR cam gears, AEM fuel rail, fuel regulator, 9lbs Exedy racing flywheel with stage 1 exedy racing clutch. tunned right with a P28...????
