Default ((( read ))) help, no spark ( wierd problem)

ok, i just set all my timing just right. installed a new ignitor, cap, coil, rotor, plugs, and wires. the problem is that i am not getting spark when the plugs are in the cylinder. when i pull the plug(s) out it is sparking. i am using a new timing gun and when the plug(s) are out they spark and the timing gun flashes but with the plugs in there is no flash or any sign of life on the timing gun. i know the gun works because we put it on another car to see if it works and it does. so i need to figure out why there is no spark when the plugs are installed.
here is my whole setup:
-89 crx si
- y8 motor swap
- obd0 to obd1 harness conversion ( from tpr new )
- p28 ecu
- z6 dizzy ( bought used from total performance racing)
- new cap, rotor, coil, wires, plugs, igniter ( have 2 other igniters, 1 extra coil i tried also)
- y8 intake manifold ( complete )
- new bosh universal o2 sensor
- a6 injectors
- new oil filter
- new main relay
- good fuses
- have an extra b7 and a6 dizzy too

the motor is getting gas too, im just stumped on why it spark out side the cylinder but not inside. im sure its not because of fouled plugs.

please help! my car has been dead for 6 weeks and its my only ride

Did you take the dizzy off? It could be 180deg off in timing. The dizzy would wobble real bad when cranking but a y8 dizzy will plug into older heads/cams reversed. P.S. now get a z6 or y8 head.

it could possibly be the magnetic pickup in the dizzy, might want to check that too.

Make sure your grounds are connected (the ones around the tranny) had the same stupid *** problem and that's what it was.
