Re-sleeving???????

Re-sleeving???????
I have someone selling a block cheap and he said that it needs to be resleeved and I was wondering should I pay a little more and get one that doesn't need it or should I get it and have it resleeved. I am intending on building up the bottom end anyway. Please guide me as what I should do. The block is a Z6 and I have a Y8 head and trans so I was also wondering what kind of troubles will I run into with the Z6 block and compatibility with the rest of the motor. Thanks for the help
James
P.S. About how much does it cost to have one sleeved.

cost is around 1000 including sleves, but are you going boost? high n.o.s.? if not there is no need for it unless it has been worn out, at that point, just a rigid hone would be enough to take it 0.010 over with a new set of pistons you should be fine.

How cheap is cheap? If you're going high boost, I'd say get the block and sleeve it.
Also, bump for the D16Z6/D16Y8 block compatibility question. Along those lines, will a D16Z6 oil pan fit a D16Y8 block?
