Re-installing AC. What should i replace. Please help.
Hey, i have had my air out for about a year and a half now. I was just wondering what i should replace to make it run just as good as new. I just ordered a brand new drier and expansion valve. Is there anything else you guys recommend. What about the stuff that lies behind the dash, will that be affected by being openned up for this amount of time, or can it just get flushed out by someone??

Does it still work? If it doesn't feel as cold as it used to you probably just need to have it recharged.

if its been open. drain all the oil from the compressor and put new oil according to the compressor and the kind of refergerant your going to run.
And dont just put more to make it cold..
also why did you get a TXV for? was your plugged? After you install everything dont forget to take it to a professional to vaccum the system then check for leaks then charge the system.
