Re-installation of back seats - problem with the seat belts
The damn things won't extend. It's like they're locked. They'll come out a little bit at a time (maybe an inch or 2 before locking).
This goes for BOTH shoulder restraints. I bought the car used and for sure they worked when I first got it. Then I removed them to do some work on the car and can't get them back to normal....
Suggestions?

They have to be mounted at a specific angle or they won't extend. I had this happen to me and I freaked out. Are they still doing this after being mounted? If so, check to be sure you didn't switch the belts to the opposite sides...I know for sure that won't work.
If all else fails, take it to the dealer...seat belts have a lifetime warranty, so they will fix or replace them for free.

Originals. They're mounted back, but still don't extend. I'll go back and look at them to see if I swapped them.
