rd pedal after gsr power booster.. help needed!

Default stiff pedal after gsr power booster and mc in eg.. help needed!!!!

got a eg hatch.. just installed gsr power booster and now hard pedal feel.. i cant lock the brakes at all (no abs either)..

engine has high idle abouty 1,700.. i hear air sucktion sound from the booster area... might cause high idle that way???.. any help very appreciated.. ps i had to bend the lines but there was no dents or anything,, the brakes bleed fine..

did you put the 1 way valve in correctly? there is a little valve in the booster line and if its in backwards it could do that. just a thought

any others... i checkes the one way valve it is fine.. when i turn the car off i can hear a intake like noise suction around the booster.. it is itr 4 lug and gsr m/c and booster if that helps.

Have you checked to see if you forgot to put the rubber disc that sits on the master cylinder shaft that goes into the booster?

Or maybe you put two in and it's leaking?

You only need one - it's common for people to double disc them because the new m/c comes with one and the old one likes to stick to the booster.

could be a bad booster. it has a rubber diaphram in it that could be bad. if you have a hand held vacuum pump you can check it easily

He could also spray carb cleaner near the booster and see when the idle boosts up even more, and thus locate the vacuum leak even better.
