Default rattling coming from blower motor area...

so when i drive on the freeway, about 60-80 mph, sometimes there is a really loud rattling, it's pretty loud so i don't think it is a squeak from the dashboard, but it seems to come from the pass. side of the car. the sound doesn't seem to get progressively louder, just when theres vibration from driving on the freeway, the sound presents itself.

any of you have this problem? oh btw, it's a 97 civic coupe. i'm thinking it is coming from the blower motor, maybe some debris, or a rock trapped inside. the sound comes on whether or not i turn the blower fan on, whether or not i have the air recirculating or air from teh outside.

my question is, can the blower motor be checked for debris without removing the dash? i looked under there the other day and it looks like alot of stuff is blocking it. any one want to offer some help? tia. tomy

was looking at my helms, and is it true that you have to remove the evaporator to get to the blower motor?
