Default rattle when i start in first?

ok i just installed dc 4-1 headers on my 98 ex coupe. but everytime i leave from a stop it rattles and sometimes in down shift aswell. any idea what this noise is caused by? it sounds like it's comming from the cat like maybe the heat shield is loose?

So how do you own a car and not a jack? For pete's sake, they're like 30 bucks.

I hate to be a damper on things, but if you have money to waste on a new exhaust, I would have spent that money on a thing that you need, such as a jack.

WTF do you plan to do if you get a flat tire?

go get a good jack, one that rasies that car more than just to change your tire. get some jack stands while your at it. Put your exhaust on and check the cat heat shield.

it might be your header bracket. My DC header broke on me twice. I though was the heat sheild, but the bracket was hitting the header.
