Default Rare USDM parts?

Was wondering through the local junkyard today looking for a DA and came across lots of civics which got me thinking.. What are some of the more valuable/rare in good condition parts that people are after?

this isn't rare at all, but if you can find rear disc conversions off any integra, you can easily sell those for at least $100

You are able to get more depending on the state and the "tuner scene" in your local.

You cn get about 300 for a good set of rear disk here in colorado.

i don't think those are USDM though, but you're right they are pretty high in value..

i notice people sell OEM Honda sunroof visors for around $50 which is crazy bc i bought one from a junkyard for around $15. (also not so rare)

also clean floor mats and clean mudguards can go for at least $75 on the forums even though the junkyards sell them for much cheaper, at least here in texas.

If you can find an OEM EM1 front or rear lips, those go for $150-$200 EASILY.

there's not much rare USDM parts really, but discontinued accessories is where the money is at.

for jdm too...OEM lip kits is very difficult to find even in junk (good condition)

I think there are many discontinue accessory like gather speaker on roof also a super rare and some other interior part also hard to find in good condition due to its age...

Just dug up my 91 si oem full mask/bra kit. I think it's worth a little money from what I see on ebay.

Oem hood/bumper bras have got to be worth a good penny.

Cargo covers for eg hatches I think are fairly rare. I'd like to have a set of mirror cover tweeters in my sedan.

If you come across an optional audio (double din) console in grey, I'll gladly take it.

Rear speaker grilles for EG hatch. They only came in Si's I believe. Mine were stolen and I was never able to find another pair.

My theory is that these parts are popular in places where there is low volume and high demand. California seems to be one of those places. In a lot of ways, they then dictate the overall market price.

For example: Sold a visor for $90 shipped, just this week. Definitely worth removing if you see one at the yard. I remove nice floor mats as well as occasionally some mud guards. But honestly I see so many mud guard sets I usually just leave them because there's more interesting stuff.

TBH, I've never really thought about these front/rear lip kits and valences ... they've not been on the radar. I'll keep a better eye out now.

I've seen these bras at the yards but I just leave them because they are usually in crap condition. Like, there were two 4th Gens last week that have probably had their bras on for 25 years. Pretty beat. Doubt there's a market!

I probably have 5 or 6 EG cargo covers stockpiled. Just waiting to get rid of them eventually.

I did find an EG lower console in April. That was the third one I've found in casual junkyard hunting over the past couple of years.

I've got more of these than I can count. Well, probably about 5 sets now. Have to get rid of these too but too many things on my plate to make FS ads, hah.

One thing I haven't seen mentioned is the centre armrests. On 5th Gens the hard top ones in grey and brown are easy to find in sedans. The soft top ones are much trickier beast, as these were actual optional items. You could also just buy the soft top to replace your existing hard top.

Any 5G optional item that is in blue is basically the rarest of the rare, with the blue lower audio console being the equivalent of finding rocking horse poo. I've found blue armrests and blue rear speakers before ... but I never expect to see a blue lower audio console.

Found a DA Integra armrest (CDM style) just last week, those things are worth decent coin.
