Random Shutoff
I have a 1999 Honda Civic Si that I just did a swap on. I put in a JDM b16(obd-1) into my car(obd-2) and used a conversion harness. I have no check engine lights or anything. Car runs fine most of the time. But since I have had it back on the road (Sunday) the car has randomly shutoff while driving 3 times. It's almost like a loose ground or fuel cut of some sort. It happens when I am slowing down or going slow most of the time. If you let the car sit for about 5-10 minutes after stauling out it will start up with no problems.
-- When I try to start the car after it stauling out it tries to turn over and the Battery light stay's on. The battery is brand new. I have looked at the grounds and they seem to be fine.
Does anybody have any ideas?
Thanks a lot.

Re: Random Shutoff (cimo463)
Hoping you had blown your old motor. Check the spark plugs and rotor cap. Take the grounds loose and sand where they connect. Also could be your fuel filter, or you might need to adjust your throttle cable.

Thanks I will try the throttle cable and try to clean out the fuel filter it shouldnt be the distributor or rotor since they are both brand new.
