ran up curb......help???
so i ran up a curb........dont ask how..
but now my steering wheel is cocked about 1in to the right yet the car goes straight.
looked under the car everything looks fine. but i did notice that the wheel is a bit off center. that is to say the gaps between the sides of the fender well and tire are not even.
possible bent upper or lower lca, tie-rod.....
any one have any ideas?

take it to a shop that does alignments...they will tell you what is bent, ask them to show it to you...fix what is wrong then have it re-aligned....from what you described something is deffinetely bent.

i was thinking about doing that. i really dont want to have it aligned twice though. but def a good starting point.

yes, definitely get an alignment. it doesn't necessarily mean something is bent (depending how fast you were going). it doesn't take much to knock out your alignment.

oh it for sure needs an alignment. as i forgot to mention i had to replace the rim.
im just worried because i dont think an alignment prob would solve the fact that my steering wheel sit a bit to the right although the tires are straight.

your steerin wheel sits to the right, or points to the right. you know, kind of like when you need an alignment.
if the steering wheel has actually shifted, you might need a new steering rack, or worse, you have frame damage.
