radio relocation
hey guys
disclaimer**i searched already, and i didn't find anything**
i want to relocate my radio to the storage area behing the cup holders on my 99 hatch...just wondering if ya'll ever tried it, or know where i can find some instructions on how to do it...

Take out your radio, disconnect it, move it down to the bottom, push wires down, connect radio.
If you have to cut a hole then dremel is your best friend.

If you are going to do all that why dont you just get the Audio Console it will give you two more bins of space. I use to have my Radio and a graphic Eq down there.

I did it in my '97. It is really easy. There are even places to screw the radio brackets into on the space behind the cupholders.

Well, am I wrong? 
I think a turbo timer or boost gauge or a/f meter or something of that nature is more practical there. Not that you would know j/k.
But in all reality, it is something to think about. Not that it is hard at all to move the radio back to the stock spot if you want to.

i did it and have a tv mounted where my radio used to be. soon to be changing the tv to some gauges. the only thing that sucks is the cup holder lid wont open up all the way with the radio there. but i like it overall, keeps the bright lights off my radio out of my eyes at night. its helps with security also. flip the lid up and its hidden from wondering eyes....
