Recently I had to completely re wire the cd player. The previous owner killed the stock harness which was already missing to begin with. I decided to try and salvage the wiring and use some crimps and butt connectors but, i came to a stop when I found the 2 wires that says "aren't used" from some online diagram. One is a solid red wire the other is a red/black stripe. Do I need to give the dimmer(red wire) 12v constantly or switched and I'm assuming ground the other wire ? Thanks
