radio is fuzzy w/ heater on
i posted this here instead of the radio forum because it is specific to my eg, i also have a crvl, and a crx which pick up fine. but when i turn on the radio i get shity reception and when i turn on the fan it gets much much worse. its somewhat bearable on 1 but when i turn the fan up to 2,3,or 4 the station is completely lost. this happens with all stations... and even when i park in the radio station parking lot, it still comes in shitty and the fan blocks it out completely. any help would b appreciated till then im stuck with my old steve earl and nitty gritty dirt band cds
anyone?????

Ground your headunit independently of the radio wire harness, Its not the best ground. You want to try and keep the new ground as short as possible.

Re: radio is fuzzy w/ heater on (hondadazed)
I had a problem with the radio being fuzzy with my lights on. I read this post, went out and ripped everything apart. I hooked my ground wire to a metal bracket in the car. Make sure you clean off the metal before you connect the wire so it'll get better contact.
I just tried it and its 100% better. No more static
