As far as I know, you have to call the dealership WHERE IT WAS PURCHASED (not just any H dealership) and give them the vin #, they can then give you the code for that radio (assuming it's stock), the code changes from car to car, That's what the guy when I tried to get my code from a honda dealer told me, anyways

if you can't get the serial number of the deck you must have a stolen unit.. and if you can't call in the vin.. well that sounds fishy as well.
all the help i can give you..

Ummmm, no, I'm dead serious, call up a damn honda dealership and ask them, you need to call the specific one from which YOU purchased hte car, I gave the guy my vin #, and he said he couldn't help me because the car was not purchased from there, I don't personally know the woman who I bought it from (weird, eh?) but if I hear it down the grape vine I'll find out where she bought it and call them and call in my vin #...
Don't be so quick to judge, and seriously, if you don't believe me, call your local honda
As for the serial number...I never thought about that O.o, I'm not going to pull it now 'cause it's 8ºF, but I'll pull it and see if I can give them the vin # and the serial # and see if that works (because they'll match, but even then...) It probably wouldn't work because they won't have it in their filing system, from what the guy at honda told me, the only way to get that code is the owners manual, or it's in the computer from the dealership where you purchased the car NEW. You have any numbers I can call adn give them my #'s and them give me the code, plz, by all means...
@allaboutdaz
it's a sticker on the side or top of the radio, you have to pull it out..

Re: (Syndacate)
what u gotta do is, take the radio out, read the serial number off the unit to a dealer and they can look up your code, it DOESNT matter what dealer you call IF you have the serial number off of the radio itself, not just ur VIN
