Take your car registration and serial number from the radio to a Honda dealership, they will look up your radio code.

Yup, I did it about 3 weeks ago with my Civic. I got a free 2001 Prelude CD player and told the dealer my old one got stolen. They checked my registration and showed them a "made up receipt" I made with my computer and it was good to go. Also did this with my RSX back in November.

Or look in your owners manual... the previous owner might have it written down. Or it will be on a card

I heard some models have the serial number in the glovebox too.

And the op can look here for removal instructions.

He already posted in that thread earlier. He knows where the serial number is and what to do with it once he has it, but he can't get the radio out yet.

You can also call Honda of North America. I had to do this several years ago after installing a cd changer.
