Emergency Help - Radiator W/ no Fan
I just got my car running today. is it safe to run my car with the stock eg rad. w/o a fan?
also, I have an integra rad with both fans on there, where one would be the best fit for the eg rad?
Thanks
btw, I have a b18b

It doesn't matter worth of dick, as long as you're not idling for awhile.
Fan = move air across radiator when you're not moving. So that means just don't leave your car unattended to idle and keep ur eye on the temp gauge.

Thanks guys, but I would prefer to play it safe and use one of my fans from my teg rad.
For Bimmers we have something called fan delete in which we remove our fan and add water wetter and a lower temp thermostat. Is there anything similar for Hondas?

you could probably do this... but you'll probably elevate your "normal" running water temp.

this is true... you can probably run without a fan unless you're turbo'd (esp with a turbo timer).

Re: (pgpunkguy)
like guy above me said throw fan on there if worried or go buy a slim fan for $50...
i have a b18c1 and i live in Texas, ran my car with no fan all summer long even on like 100 degree or hotter days... just don't let it sit too long... i had to turn the heater on if i was stuck in really bad traffic but as long as i was moving most of the time it was fine...
