Radiator support welded on?

Radiator support welded on?
I was just at the junk yard trying to get a ratiator support for a 95 Civic EX coupe, and the dude wanted 200 bucks, he said its expensive because its welded on and they would have to cut it like 3/4 of they was down the fender? make sense to anyone?
