RADIATOR SUPPORT REPLACEMENT
I am in the process of replacing the front end on my 99 Civic (not by choice), the radiator support unit is giving me trouble. It is obviously welded on and right now I am in the process of drilling out the welds to get it off. I have a replacement for it, is this part supposed to be welded on as well? I don't know if I can just bolt it on or if it needs to be welded back on for the car to be right again. Also, do you know if I am going to have to remove the condenser to get this done? Any help would be greatly appreciated. THANK YOU!

No, I do believe it has to be welded back on. You could probably call a welding shop and have them send someone over with a portable welder to do it for you, unless you have access to a welder.

Re: RADIATOR SUPPORT REPLACEMENT (TouringAccord)
all 92+ civic radiator supports are weld-on.

Just use a air chizzle.....just pops right off....
