radiator spitting?

radiator spitting?
i had a overheating problem..went to the gas station, popped the cap..put in some water and was letting car run..then the radiator started spittin coolant all over the place...in like intervals...like whenever the thermo i guess was opening..any ideas?

I'ts just boiling over, that's what the over flow tank thing next to the radiator is for. Just put the cap back on and you should be good as long as you're not still overheating
