Radiator replacement manual transmission

I have a 95 civic DX 2dr with M/T.

I have a leaking radiator and am looking at a replacement. Most of the radiators I have seen have two small outlets for the automatic transmission cooling. I have a manual transmission and my radiator does not have these outlets. If I buy a radiator with the A/T outlets can I block them off safely (or connect them together) or is it better to get the correct radiator to begin with.

I only just noticed that the radiator run out of coolant, I had to drive about 2 miles (very carefully) with very little coolant in the radiator but now I cannot tell if the head gasket is gone or not without replacing the radiator. Anyone have any advice?

You don't have to do anything, you could leave those little hose outlets alone and nothing will happen. https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif

You can use the A/T radiator and simply cap the A/T-fluid cooler lines. It's simply a metal tube that runs through the inside the bottom tank of the radiator to keep the the A/T cool.

Yeah, I picked up the radiator and had no problems using it... I got everything installed and running and there seems to be no issues at all.

Thanks for the help!
