I just replaced my radiator on my 95 civic dx and While trying to fill it. It is not flowing like I thought it should be. This is my first time, is this normal?? It does bubble when I rev the engine, but looks like a stagnant pond when just at idle.

this is what you do...

engine off,

fill radiator up to top...bleed the coolant via bolt on engine while maintain coolant full in radiator.

when coolant flows out of bleed bolt without bubbles, tighten bleed bolt, and partially tighten radiator cap (half way closed)

engine on,

have heater too max heat, but without fan. let car run untill your radiator fan kicks in 2 times...if everything is working then your upper radiator hose will be hot and so will your lower radiator hose.

if the bottom is cold then your thermostat is broken...replace and repeat coolant process.

once everything is working turn engine off and fill up radiator and radiator reservoir to max and completely close radiator cap...
