there are two coolant sensors...one is for the gauge and is located on the head, it has a single wire coming from it....the other is either on the thremostat housing or on the back of the block by the oil filter, that one has two wires.

ok here we go

i had this problem myself now
if you know where your thermostat is, there should be a sensor connected to it
now if you jumped that then you did it right and you need a new fan if it does not work
sometimes you may need a new sensor which is attached to the thermostat
you can find one at your local junk yard but it is hard to find.

you can also purchase from a honda dealer for 39.99 i recommend that

well before you go and replace the fan cause it didnt come on, you could also have a broken wire from the sensor to the fan. jump the fan it self from your battery and see if it works, if it does than you probally have a bad sensor. you could call the honda dealer and ask them if what the resistance value of the sensor is and ohm it out, and that will tell you if your sensor is bad, good luck.
