Radiator fan - multiple speeds?

I've been told that the fan has multiple speeds by some people and others told me that the ones that told me that are idiots... Do radiator fans have multiple speeds?

one speed. on/off thats it. the fan under your dash has multiple speeds. but not the radiator fan. slap your friends

aftermarket fans sometimes have 2 speeds. my fan is set to come on low at 165 degrees and high at 180 degrees
