Radiator Fan
I have a friend who is having trouble with his car, we do all the work so far ourselves and really don't want to take it to the shop so any help will be appreciated. "I have a '98 Camry (yes i know this is a civic forum but his camry forum sucks) and my radiator fans won't turn on unless my a/c is on. I get a really bad electrical burning smell when the car runs for over five minutes. I replaced the relays for the fans and also checked the sensor none helped. Thanks in advance for your help."

The fuses are fine and he switched out the relay and it worked in another slot so we know the relays are fine. Also he picked up some sort of sensor for the fan. The guy at AutoZone said that the sensor that he needed to replace was right under his valve covers on the right side when looking at the motor. The sensor tells the fan when to turn on, he also said that antifreeze touches this sensor thing.
