Re: Radiator Core Support question
The only thing i can think of is the hole wont be in the right place, which is fixed very easily. However the mount may be to narrow fot the bumpe to mount perfect.
If you have it, you may be able to take the ones of the 96-98 coresupport and put them on the new one.

i'm not going to be the one doing the work. i just like to buy my parts before going to thes shop. how much labor is involved? i've heard that cutting the old one off is a PITA.

Re: Radiator Core Support question
It will take a couple hours, or less if they know what they are doing.
It is held on with spot welds, and should be put back on with spot welds. It overall is quite easy to do. Most shops will quote 600-1000+ to do it.
