Default which racing seats in 95 coupe

I want to put a pair of new seats in my 95 civic and i have been searching online and in many different shops for the right set. I read throught the Sport Compact Car fitment guide on all of the seats that would fit me best, and the only ones i like are the NEX non reclinable seats. My question or request is if any one has these seats or any seats that are in with harnesses post away.

Are you really sure you want to buy a racing seat for your car?

Are you satified with you performance right now? I would rather take that $300+ and stick it into the engine or something performance oriented.

I just picked up some Del Sol seats and I like them about 10000 times better than my Corbeau A4s.

I wouldn't put non reclinable racing seats in my car in place of stock seats, you will learn to hate them! THey are good at the track, but get really uncomfortable really quick! I would at least get reclineable seats!

well, a good race seat is arguably, a "performance" mod since coupled with a racing harness (with roll bar of course ), it does help plant the driver securely in his seat while on the track. My friend was sliding all over his seat when taking turns at Willow Springs and Buttonwillow which affected his concentration and his times. Times got much better when he put in some Sparcos.

but for strictly street use, I'd have to agree a fixed racing seat gets to be a pain.

It was rather unclear as to what his purpose was for the seat.

Well i guess you are right on many levels, but here are my reasons and purposes for the seats. Yeah i could put the three hundred dollars in on my engine, but i am runnin a d15b7. There arent that many mods that are worth the cash. Second my interior sucks and the seats would be a welcomed item( reclinable or not), and thirdly i would like to auto cross and even though my car doesnt have much horse power i would like them in so that i could stay in my seat better. Lately my stock seats and belts just arent accomplishing that. Mainly i just want new seats for the added protection and the nice overstock look.

arguably???? more like a necasity if you want to stay in your seat while racing.

that would be of course if you RR/AX your car, and if you don't then i wouldn't get a non reclinable.

I am looking at either some DAD's or some Nex straight backs with harnesses. Anyone running 4 or 5 point harnesses on these seats?
