R134a AC conversion question
hello
I had a 92 civic EG wth R12 system and I was wondering where can I get R134a conversion fittings? I searched but they have different sizes and I dunno which one that fits my civic

You should find a universal kit at a local napa or something. All you have to do is drain the old system. take it to a shop dont pollute my air. screw on the new shrader valve's and fill the system back up with the included r-134a. I think the entire kit from napa is 50 bucks. be careful. and good luck.

here's the link to what it looks like. I've used this on a NSX at my job SO IM 100% sure it will work for you application.

Don't the seals and some of the lines need to be replaced as well? I was under the impression the materials used in the R12 weren't compatable with R134A. I could be wrong though.

Yes your right you should change some of the seals due to the type of oil but this kit is compatable with them. Also you should change your accumulator (device which "drys" the refrigerant by removing moisture from the system.) But under a budget this is the best kit. It shouldn't hurt not to do the before mentioned items, but it wont hurt you not to do them either.
