Default r12 to r134a A/c pressure switch ?

I converted my 93 cx to r134a about 5 years ago. The system blew cold, but not to my satisfaction during the summer. I was thinking about the a/c pressure switch found on the condenser. Is it required when converting from r12 to r134a to change the pressure switch?

Also the thermostat found in the evaporator are different in the 92-93 vs 94-95. Does it matter that I kept the 92-93 thermostat? I kept it because 94-95 would not fit with my stock harness.

Im not so sure about the switch. But it is a fact that r134a operates at a higher pressure and temperature. Have you changed the condenser?

Try jumping the pressure switch to see if having a higher cut-off pressure would make your system better. Just be on the watch on the gauges. If no improvement, something else is wrong.
