r ebay steals a steal for u or them?
i see headers for like 5 bucks plus 30$ for shipping.are they even worth looking at . they dont look too shabby. i know you get what you pay for but it almost seems too tempting for on owner on a serious budget. i see throw shifters for like a buck plus 8 for shipping.is this very poor quality stuff or what?

you said it dude , you get what you pay for. stay away from those cheap short throw shifters off ebay , ive seen 4 of em now snap right off where the threads start for your **** to screw on. happened when bangin second in all 4 cases. snap. poopie kaa kaa shifters. as far as headers goes , you can get a stainless header by OBX for prolly little pver or under 100 bucks. OBX headers are ok , by no means awsome ones but good.

I haven't fooled with the OBX, but I hear a lot of good stuff about them and Megan racing.
In my opinion, I think it all boils down to the construction of the headers, like the welds and the materials used. Most people **** and moan about cheap headers cracking and whatnot, but I had my DC Sports headers do the same. (YES I ALREADY KNOW DC's SUCK)
I bet the HP difference is minimal between a cheap eBay header and a $400 model for a stockish d-series.

Yep, if you shift hard, they will break. My friend's broke after about 2 months. But I have had my cheap one for about 2 years with no problems. But I never shift hard either.

I havent had problems with my header I got from there. Good quality welds and a thick flange. Got to be carefull with Intakes and manifolds though, Some of them havent been deburred and could let a piece of metal go into the engine. I wounldn't trust any of the short shifters on there either.
