Re: R backseat installation in ek (AK1200)
does anyone know about the fitment of DC2 rear seats compared to DB8 (4 door integra) both out of an ITR. I know there is a 1" gap with dc2 itr rear seats - right, anyone know about the 4 door ITR rear seats & their fitment in a EK?

from what i've heard, and from what they look like, 4dr ITR seats will fit in civic coupes just fine, but not hatchbacks.

you will always have a gap with teg rear seats...they are more narrow than civic seats. period.
if you want leather and want no gaps then get your civic seats re-covered, if not then deal with the gap and get teg seats.

Re: R backseat installation in ek (adirondackR)
they both have a gap from what I remember...I was only looking at them as an alternative to re-covering my stock back seat to match my s2000 seats but when I found out they both had gaps I said forget it. It's something about the way the seat backs bolt down though from what I can remember as being the difference...oh yeah and it was one or the other that was too tall also. Sorry that's vague as hell but like I said it was a while ago and since I didn't do it I lost interest in it. jdmcivic.com was where I got my info if I remember correctly.

i've seen civic hatch's with ITR rear seats and they seem to fit almost perfectly. i think the only problem i've heard of from this is the bottom part of the seat sits too low, but people usually fix that by putting some foam or blankets under it to make it even. i have never installed integra seats in a civic, so i don't know from experience, this is just what i've seen and heard.
