As a short term option, it's functional. When I say short term, I mean a couple weeks to a month.

On an exhaust, I doubt it stays on a few hours. Watched it fall right off an old v8 manifold even after a good grind and prep in just minutes.

You're better off caking some RTV sealer on it.

i've seen them temporarily brazed before, it apparently will hold up for a while
