quiet stock looking mufflers
my exhaust is about rotted out and i've got someone to bend my one really cheap, it's only a 1.5 so i don't want people revving on me all the time, but it would hurt to let the car breath a little better. any suggestions?

Re: quiet stock looking mufflers (VTEC CX)
As far as sound goes, I would consider the Apex WS. It is quiet, and you will notice gains. They do not offer the axel back version though, so you would have to get a complete cat back. If you spray the WS flat black it will be very low key. The tip is larger than stock, but by no means gawdy.
I have this exhaust on my car and it is ****.

magnaflow aluminzed muff , lifetime warranty , very high quality , high temp flat black and it looks stock
part number 11216 , 14" long 5 x 8" oval , center in center out 2.5" diam.
they said with the resonator I have (27" long ) it will be ALMOST stock quiet with my test pipe
muff and resonator cost me about 150 with my hookup
gets installed friday , so no comment on the sound just yet but it should be very quiet this is a nice quality piece

Re: quiet stock looking mufflers (B18C5-EH2)
yeah crazy isnt it , did someone start a rumor its JDM or something
I really still try to understand what peoples obsession is with this muff , my magnaflow looks top notch and SMSP uses it on his DYNO proven exhaust
I guess I want performance instead of bragging rights

ES oval mufflers are crap and sound like it, Magnaflow is awesome.
Hmmmm, you want a quiet stock looking exhaust system.
How about a stock exhaust then, Honda sells them ready to install.

I dont think ES muffler is crap.. it's well made, but I dont think it should consider quiet.. it's not..
but it's hard to see (stealth) when there is no tip... its tone is low and solid...
btw, who made ES muffler?

Re: quiet stock looking mufflers (jdmhatch)
jdmhatch...you have lots of choices.....4x9, 5x8, 6" round stainless or aluminized, with or without ss tip....

FYI, Magnaflow's catback system uses a 6" round "street series" muffler # 14846

Re: quiet stock looking mufflers (Hatch_92)
Does an ITR exhaust fit on an EG? I keep hearing conflicting stories about this. Does the dam thing fit or not? Those where my original plans but some people tell me the muffler is too big for the EG. I know the piping will fit. So will the muffler fit properly? I,ve had the dam thing sitting in my house for a couple of weeks but dont want to go to the muffler shop for nothing. thanx guys
