Haha, within reason? Do you have a budget? I'm assuming you do, so I suggest you post that up first. There are sooo many possibilites for motors for pretty much any honda. It really depends on your budget.

Re: quickest motor for a del sol (mysol)
first what kind of motor do you have in ur del sol?
and if ur going for a really fast del sol go with k series witch would make a hole in you wallet you will be spending over 4grand.if u have a b16 dohc motor u can boost that sucker as well.if u need more tips here a site for all del sol owners.

4k? thats being EXTREMELY modest if you're talking k-series.

They were inline 12's, weren't they? I saw one in a dragster before. The valve cover on the thing was HUGE
::Edit::
Just looked it up. It was the Merlin-XX. And it was indeed a V12. I guess I only saw half of it. The damn thing was long enough to fit 12 pistons just in the one side though.

Re: (mysol)
I would buy the b16 swap and put a ls short block in it, Look up a ls vtec on here because thats what you would be building, I love the b16 but the little 1.6 doesn't cut it for me in the torque department turbo or not.

Re: (highroller54)
k24 block with a k20 head.... or jdm b18c5 or boost a built d16z6 or u can do a mini me with the d15 block with a z6 head=more torque is what im told. so much stuff u can do for the hondas. it just depends on ur budget and what direction u're heading. b18c1 is nice also

if youre on a budget, build up a d-series and boost it. it whould cost less than a b and rape it at the same time. and dont talk about lack of torque, i make 405 whp and 315 ftlbs of torque.

i guess if im racing from 0 to 30 it'd be "laggy". from 30 to 130....watchout.
thats where real men race. not till 30 mph.
btw, good luck on the awd settup. cant wait to see it done.

Re: (jdmstyler)
i agree with poor mans type r. its better if u stick with b series and d series.u can do all kind of swaps with it. with that price and that kind of milage i would jump on it in a heart beat.i have a 95 del sol my self and its running on b16 and im loving every second of it specially when u hear your v-tec sreaming out power like theres no more tommorow. start a poll i vote for b series all the way..............
