Automatic transmissions aren't designed to handle the power. Most manual transmissions are stronger than Auto's. You can turbo your setup with an auto, just take it easy and realize that it will fail.

I am not sure which auto would be the strongest, but I would imagine B-series should be stronger. Most Honda & Acura performance engines came with manuals.

A manual to auto conversion on a Honda is relatively easy. There is no reason to suffer. FAQ's have many write-ups.
