Not to sound like a dick, but if you're worried about weight you probably shouldn't have bought an Si. All the stuff that makes an Si an Si makes it weigh more. A better idea is to buy a CX and then add the stuff you actually want if weight is a convern.

Are you wanting to strip it like a track car or take some weight out for better gas mileage? Do you have a garage available or doing this in your driveway?
Rear seats, carpet, headliner for starters.
Get some dry ice to remove all the sound deadening material ~25lbs.
Scrap all the undercoating off the bottom of the car is good for 20 lbs.
Interior panels, speakers and radio.
Power windows and AC must go.
(I'd keep the heater regardless of weight)
Drycell battery. Remove windshield washer fluid. Go to a mono-wiper.
Lexan windows, fiberglass hood, fiberglass hatch.
Fuel cell.
If you want to start removing metal it is best to install a supplemental support system like a roll bar/cage. In which you add weight to take out weight.

Right, a CX is about 300-350 lbs lighter. Definitely a better starting point. I remember a buddy of mine doing a B16a swap into a '93 CX. Compared to my '95 EX coupe (at the time) with B18C1, it felt much more lively and agile.
