Default Quick radiator question

Today i went to the store and came back and decided to check my fluids. When i took off the radiator cap some coolant overflowed onto the ground. Is that normal? I am running at regular engine temperature?

If its hot its always going to spray out, be careful it can spray at your face.

next time wait till its cold to check.

I think when you car is cold check the coolant level in the reservoir should be alright unless there's nothing then you will need to take off the cap and check the level inside the rad.

when burping the system, the engine needs to be running at warm optimal temps with the cap off

Water expands when heated, go figure.

Yes, you purge they system by removing the cap when the engine is dead cold. Start the car and the air bubles will surface. Let the engine warm up and all the bubles will be gone.
