no i only have the dx tranny and its freakin killing mee

im getting sick of it.. i was going to get the z6 tranny but i was thinking of just getting the zc trans because of the closer ratios.. but if its not a good idea ill just get the z6 tranny.... i found the d15b hydro tranny and the guy tole me it was lsd for 500 but thats a bit too much

i can get the z6 tranny for 325 so i dont know....i know i can use the zc's 3rd 4th and 5th but i do not know how to work on trannys at all and im not gonna start to learn and screw something up

any info on this would be great

Why do you have a DX transmission in a D16Z6 swapped CX model hatch? The CX and VX transmissions are even worse than the DX model.

To answer your question, look around for a 1992-2000 EX/Si unit so you won't have any headaches.

because when i got the hatch it only had the cx motor and tranny... i swapped the cx motor with a d16z6 but kept the cx tranny becuase i couldnt afford the ex/si at the time... then i got a deal on a good dx trans for 100 bucks no grinds or anything.. .now im getting sick of the tranny and i want something better..... ie im running 9.91's in the eigth mile and i want more potential and i know the dx trannys gonna slow me down... so i guess ill get the ex/si tranny.... if its that much trouble to put the zc in
