Quick Question : What is my engine model #?
Like the title says, I need to know what my engine model number is. I have a 1994 Honda Civic Hatchback VX. The valve cover says VTEC-E. Thanks.

Are you sure that this is the model # (or whatever it's called)? The reason I need it is because I am going to be changing my timing belt and I don't want any problems. Thanks for the quick response

look near where the tranny is. It should say "d16" something something
it's where your vin is too (the vin should be in a green metal thing)

i'm 99% postive its a d15z1...but i could always be wrong...i've never had one so yeah..but i'm a nerd with this stuff so i know like all of them....but yeah....she's a powerful beast....vtec is killer

damn i'm post whoreing....but it shouldn't really matter...i believe a d15b7 belt would work too...
