i have a B16 complete swap, going to be using the tranny and the head on a b20b for a b20v (temp. will boost and build bottom end later) im 99% sure i can, but just need a confirmation from you guys before i buy. Im looking at a clutch kit and fidanza flywheel that is for a b16. when switching from the b16 to the b20, the clutch should still fit correct? ....prob. stupid quest for u guys..but i dont know and still learning

also, im looking later down the road...when tunning....i have ek hatch obd2 i believe. I would have to downgrade to obd1 correct to make the car tune-able at a later date? what makes the car obd1?

I have b16 obd1 complete swap including p72 ecu on my ej2. and i have a ek hatch obd2. I have the obd1 hardness from the ej2 and i have a obd2 hardness that my friend is giving me. What are my options or what else do i need to make the car fully functional and tune-able at a later date. Reason i ask this cuz i believe the obd2 cars are not tune-able....am i right?

clutch will work
get an obd2 to obd1 jumper and an obd1 ecu

and it will all work its the same as a ls/vtec just b20/vtec

thanx bigeg9, when using that obd2 to obd1 jumper, this will allow me to use my obd2 engine hardness and have a jumper to the ecu to make it obd1? is that correct?

did some searching to buy that obd jumper. Got it now. Will use my Obd2 harness with a obd2 to obd1 jumper to use my obd1 ECU. Will also have to change my obd2 plugs (dizzy, injectors, alternator) to obd1 using old harness plugs. I believe this is correct. Someone let me know if im wrong or missing anything.

I just purchased the clutch and fidanza flywheel. Gonna get that jumper later on.
