Have someone stand on the brake knuckle and hop up and down while you jimmy the shock out of the way.....
Or do it the right way and take the LCA bolt out of the brake knuckle and drop it down.

Well, considering there's only three bolts on your lower control arm .... one is connected to the shock fork, one is connected to the subframe of the car ..... that only leaves one option.

Glad to help. I've put more wrenchtime into my suspension with all the times I've changed it than I have to any other part of my car, including my swap
In fact, I'm crawling under my car this Friday afternoon, and probably won't come out except to drink and **** till I'm done. Front and rear swaybar installs, replacing front LCA, and subframe brace install.
