Quick question: Are oil pan gaskets reuseable?
Just like the title says, i just want a straight yes or no answer. I took my gasket off so i could do some welding im wondering if it would leak if i put it back on. Thanks.

Cool, any others? I just dont want to put it back on and see it leaking from the gasket and have to buy a new one, that would suck

Yep. I always have one laying around when I pull the pan just incase the old one is bad. Sucks to be stuck without one.

Reusable? Yes.
Guarenteed not to leak? No.
Just for insurance i would go ahead and put a new one.

My thoughts exactly and the gasket is pretty cheap anyways. You just never know.
