Default quick question maybe someone can help.

alrite i have a 1992 civic with a z6 swap done. now sometime when i start my car it starts idles for a second drops to like 100 rpm then kick back up and runs perfict. then other times it just starts perfict, anyone know what sensor might be going or what might cause this problum.

any cels?
take the dizzy cap off and scratch the terminals on the inside
check the rotor. how long ago did you switch wires and plugs?

no CEL, new cap and rotor and plugs. but not new wires.

the ends of teh wires electrodes could be corroded.

check your 02 sensor mine does the same but its a turbo`d car it idles at a grand drops to 500 and back to a grand its annoying

If the idle is low only after starting a cold engine, then clean the FITV on the throttle body. Otherwise, clean the IACV on the throttle body.

To my recollection, this is the first time I have fixed someone's car in their dreams. Maybe it's a good sign that I didn't screw up the job!

I did the same swap, it has to do with the O2 sensor difference between the two engines. I ended up having to cut one of the small O2 input tubes and splitting it into a Y so it could go to both of the sensors.
