Hi All, New here so ere goes, lets see if i do this right. lol

Can I use the Lightweight aluminium roof (from a manual top) just for the moment whilst takin on and off etc instead of heavy transtop one as it isnt working?

Are the fittings any different or.... can i just put it on and when remove it leave it in house?

I have a 1992 Del Sol SIR (JDM), been in the garage for nearly a year whilst modifying it, the transtop is no longer workin the car is gettin sprayed any day soon so I want to be out and about in it. Its only temporary whilst I get it fixed? Any advice will be appreciated, thanks all!

A large portion of the member base on this site are in/from the United States of America. We don't get the Trans Top here, so a lot of us won't know all the differences.

Unfortunately a lot of our more knowledgeable members have recently left due to the site becoming clunky after a redesign.

oh ill try that. i keep trying the del sol uk website which is for uk owners of the sol but its the worst site ever for loading, just always states cannot be displayed when you try logging in or reading a post, its very temporary

No, you can't use the manual roof top. When you strip both down, you will see that they are different.

good lad my one is broke i just open it with the key and slide it in , the cente handel has to be at the closed side and then put two 10mm bolts in to the holes wher the rolebar is on eather side. then just close the boot. any probs just post me
