quick question about vtec solenoid pins

quick question about vtec solenoid pins
for the VTEC pressure switch (B series), does it matter which pin receives signal from the ecu and which is ground, or can they be switched? i don't have the pigtail, so i'm hard-wiring this beezy. if someone could take a pic of their solenoid so i can see the wire colors that'd be awesome
