Will OEM lugnuts work with these? I'm taking them up to the track to put on my car and use for the first time (with some bfg g-force t/a drags), and I don't want to get up there to find out i'm screwed 'cause my lugs won't work.

I pretty sure they won't work. Better get some more people to verify this, I'm not 100% sure.

they can be used a temp fix, but I wouldnt reccomend it. its not too safe I ended up buying Gorilla tuner lugs from JC Whitney.
$24.99, comes with the key, 12.5mm I beleive.

If you do use them just be careful torquing them on, you're bound to strip some of the paint of the wheels. i also took off the plastic washers for the time being until i got my new lugs because they tended to keep me from tightening the lug up correctly.

NO!! you need aftermarket lugs that are shaped like this at the bottom \__/. the oem ones are shaped like an acorn, which won't seat in the rim properly.

They will work but defintaly get some aftermarket ones.

I secnond that. If you are talking about the lugs for your stock steel wheels they will work, but dont do it. The lugs for steel wheels have a rounded face ( the part that touches the wheel ). If you use those lugs only a small portion of the lug nut will actually be touching the wheel, instead of seating the way it should.

Use the wrong lugnuts and your front wheels have a tendency to fall off.

There are at least 3 people on this board that have had their front wheels fall off from using the wrong lugnuts. Most end up with damage over 1000 assuming they dont actually loose control and crash.

Use McGard lugnuts.

The part that grips the threads, and the part that seats against the wheel spin independently of each other, so when the nut goes on far enough to hit the wheel, it stops spinning and just locks against the wheel and squeezes, while you tighten the parts that grips the threads.

That way, you can't scratch the finish of the wheel.

I know a guy who's a Ford mechanic and a Honda nut. He was looking around one day and found that Ford Aerostar lugs fit perfect for his Slipstreams (H22 hatch) and they look really sweet too. They are open end, very low profile, and look exactly like those really expensive black ones but they aren't black.... I'm getting Slipstreams soon and I'm going right to the Ford parts counter to get my lugs...

dude, ford will prolly charge you just as much as how much a good set of kyokugens cost. how about u go to a junk yard im sure you can find um for a better price
