Hey I'm trying to figure out how to get a car to get through inspection. The car is a 97 EK CX. It's also automatic and only has 114K on it. The car has failed for emissions and gas cap, the gas cap was replaced and the individual code is a P0420. I believe that has to do with the catalytic converter. Does the whole catalytic converter need to be replaced and if it does then where would be the best place to find one. I searched around and found a place that says they carry one for the 96-00 Civic 1.6L all models but only one part number. I am a little confused about this, and if someone can help clear this up for me I would appreciate it. Thanks

The whole thing about getting a sticker is that it's not for me, it's for a lady I know, and I highly doubt she wants to find a shop to buy a sticker. She wants the car to be fixed. So once again back to the top so maybe someone can help me out.

Memorial Day weekend bump, someone please answer my question, this is unbelievable, there has to be someone in this particular section who knows the answer, I know there is plenty of knowledgeable EG and EK and honda owners in general.
