Quick Question about buying lug nuts for HX wheels
I just got a set of chrome HX wheels/tires and I want the lugs to look nice so i've been lookin around for some good/cheap lug nuts. I've used gorilla lugs nuts before and really liked them. I've read that you need to buy the ball seat type nut for the OE wheels, but I cant get a lock for these, so im wondering if conical would work just fine or not? I know they are only OE wheels so they dont need a lock really, but it just makes me feel better deep, down inside!

Re: Quick Question about buying lug nuts for HX wheels (thoma16)
find someone selling good condition OEM lug nuts on ebay. Or try http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com. IIRC, lug nuts are like $2 each..making your price $32. Cheap, new, and correct.
Or go to a junkyard, and find a bunch of ball seat lug nuts.
You cannot use conical seats. My friend has had a wheel almost come off by using a conical seat on his Si wheels.
You can also opt for the GRAY spoon lug nuts. They are around $100, though..so they're not cheap. It's important that they are gray. The gray ones are ball seat...the red and blue ones are conical.
