Finally got all parts i need for the h swap. Now my question is, are there any parts that i can use from my d on the h. I know they are not interchaneable, but i mean like the dizzy since both are obd-1 or the alternator? i have a p28 so will i have to wire up the knock sensor? or what else will i have to add or delete from my dx wiring harness besides vtec?

No you can not use the distributor or the alternator. Yes wire up the knock sensor, unless you have it turned off when you get the p28 chipped and a map for an H burned onto the chip. Other than that wiring wise VTEC is all you have to worry about adding.

whats the diff between the alternators?

i believe the plugs are different but the one major difference is the pulleys for the belt. they aren't even close.
