If it's a 2000 Civic EX then it will fit in the space, but it won't necessarily bolt up. The EX intake tubing might be a stretch over the DOHC throttle body.
If it's a 2000 Civic CX, DX, or LX then it won't even come close to fitting because they have the throttle body and air box sitting on top of the intake manifold.

thanks! no its not like that of the lx where the throttle body points upwards.
so the tube might need some modification or sumtin?
what if i had just the ek airbox and also had a jdm b16 eg tube? will both bolt in together? i am concerned about their ends not fitting together.

Not sure honestly. You could alwasy test fit them and see.
